It was Thomas Edison who said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human body, in proper diet and exercise, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
Knowing how to heal our bodies for a long, healthy, happy life should be a focus we all adopt. Re-alignment of the body, exercise, good nutrition and avoiding toxins is the basis of a healthy, happy existence.
If you are hurt in an accident, the body will surely be wacked out of alignment. If you are performing repetitive work, the body will become out of balance. Your body will speak to you through pain signals, to seek out holistic professionals, like myself, to clear out stagnation in these areas of stress. Bowen Therapy, Acupressure , Reflexology and Aromatherapy Massage can all assist the body to heal itself.
"You are what you eat!" No truer words have been said. You know that if you drink too much coffee, it causes heart palpitations - a body warning signal. If you drink or eat too much sugary food, it causes the body to peak and crash with low energy - a body warning signal. Continue on this roller coaster and your body will begin to fail. Listen to your body talking to you and make some simple changes to assist the body, mind and spirit to enjoy life.
